Who is behind Love Reigate?
I’m Julian Rowlands and I decided to launch Love Reigate in November 2020 (yes, I’m probably a bit crazy I know!). I’m a Reigate resident born & bred & live here with my gorgeous wife and 2 amazing children.
I’ve always been a keen supporter of the local community and am an active member of the Redhill & Reigate Round Table (the folks who bring Santa by helicopter to Priory Park and also bring him around the streets each Christmas time) & I also co-manage my son’s footy team.
I wanted to combine my love for the town I live in with my 20+ years’ experience in customer loyalty, partnerships & propositions to create a new business where Reigate is the main winner.
What charities does Love Reigate support?
Love Reigate is all about supporting the local community & is delighted to announce that the current charity Love Reigate members will be supporting is Stripey Stork.
Stripey Stork is based in Reigate and collects donations of toys, clothes and other essential items for babies and children and, after checking they meet current UK safety standards, rehome them with local families experiencing hardship.
5% of all Love Membership fees collected are donated to Stripey Stork to help with the amazing work they do in our local community.
Love Reigate members will get to nominate & decide the next charity we support – watch this space.
Love Reigate is all about supporting the local community & is delighted to announce that the first charity Love Reigate members will be supporting is Loveworks (well, it’s an obvious fit don’t you think ).
Loveworks are based in Reigate and have one simple aim, to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable groups of people in the area, from the elderly to the hungry. The charity is run by volunteers to give hope, a helping hand and put a smile on people’s faces.’
